Launching Into A New Year

Miss Dior_Girl with BalloonsI'm so excited to have a new year spreading out before me and I can't wait to start pushing forward with a lot of ideas that have evolved for me over the last year. I didn't make New Year resolutions this year so much as consolidate my goals and I can't wait!
Between my textile studies and making a lot of custom items, this last year has been a massive learning curve. I've had a chance to try out a lot of things and having just completed a uni assignment doing machine embroidery and embellishment I know I'm still learning a lot of new things!
Right now I'm making some new versions of items I've done before and I have a new project in the pipeline which I can't wait to show you all very soon.

Have you made any New Years resolutions? xx

I've been thinking about resolutions... I was thinking maybe wear perfume every day? I love it when someone walks by wearing it - like walking by a bouquet. But then, knowing me, I'd forget to put some on - I'm such a simple girl. So maybe my resolution should be to get a better memory?

Happy New Year, Melissa K! XOL
