Since I don't have the time to learn this skill, I'm going to have to be satisfied with some vintage smocked linens I bought on eBay and these gorgeous images of crisp white linen!

hi melissa, i am sith you on that!!! especially love the last peice... I tried sewing (what i call a belly button!!! ) rosette type thing... didnt look quite right though... I think i didnt make it big enough. I looked inside some in a store once and elastic was used sewn in a sort of spiral... probably not sounding like i am making any sense!!! but I did have a look on the net to try to find some tutorials with no luck! will just have to save our pennies! Hope you are well! you look great in the post below!
