Coveting Cath Kidston for Uniqlo

I totally adore Cath Kidston fabrics, so I was super excited to see that Cath Kidston and Uniqlo have put together a range of clothing which is on sale to support those affected by the recent tsunami in Japan.

I just had to pop this first one in my shopping basket (and I had to wait for them to be restocked because these sold out super fast on Tuesday!)

Here are some more of the super cute Cath Kidston print tees that are available.

You can find these super cute Cath Kidston Charity Collection tees here.

Have a lovely Wednesday! xx

Around The World in a Day

Today I'm doing something a little different for this post. I'm joining up with Laura @ Happy Homemaker UK for her 'Around the World in a Day' party. Like me, Laura is an expat living in the UK and I was very excited when she posted about this idea.

So today I'm going to share a little bit about what makes my part of the world so special. I live in Cumbria, in the North West of England (yep, right at the top just before Scotland). This area is famous for the very beautiful Lakes District and has been my home for the last 2 years. Poet William Wordsworth lived here and wrote often of the beauty of this area.

Having come all the way from South Australia, this place is incredibly different to where I grew up with its hot, dry climate. What is similar is that Cumbria and The Lakes District feels very vast and open.

So to share a little of 'my place' with you, here are some photos I've taken since I arrived in this remote little corner of England...

(Words by William Wordsworth)

I wandered lonely as a Cloud

That floats on high o'er Vales and Hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd

A host of dancing Daffodils;

Along the Lake, beneath the trees,

Ten thousand dancing in the breeze.

I hope you enjoyed sharing a little piece of my corner of England
- Have a wonderful weekend xx

Handmade Homewares & Country Style Home Decor

I'd like to start by saying a big hello to all the lovely people who've dropped by to visit from Maureen at Daydream Living. I love discovering new blogs and if I haven't visited you already, I promise I'll be popping by very soon!

Ruffle Cushions at The White Shed

This week I've finally started to list some things in the Lulliloo online store. I'm very excited to let you know that I'm going to be stocking these beautiful ruffle cushions that I originally made for The White Shed. If you've visited Letitia's lovely store but you're here in the UK, you'll now be able to get these items from The White Shed locally! The photo above is from the lovely home of Letitia at The White Shed.

These 100% Irish Linen cushion covers are available in white, black and natural.

Black Ruffle Linen Cushion

I'll have more items coming very soon and I'll be doing a giveaway to all my followers next week as I get a few more things online. I was planning to do a giveaway once I reached 100 followers and since I have done that this week (yay!) - it seems like perfect timing!

Have a wonderful week x

London Fashion Shows A/W 11

I've finally had a moment to stop and upload some photos from London Fashion Week. I always love visiting London and had a fantastic time there - the fashion shows were just part of the fun for me - I also made it to the Tate Modern, Portobello Vintage Fashion Fair and of course I had to do a trip down Oxford Street while I was there!

Here are some photos from the shows - this includes designs from Annah Stretton, Berit New York, Rajadano, RumpleMunkeh, Manfit Deu, Rehmali and Cristina Nitopi.
